Ears pierced???

i am 14 and haven't get my her ears pierce yet, is it gonna hurt? i saw some videos from youtube it was so EWWW. i saw some people do them by them self(ah) and ashley tisdale did it with guns, and some got it with needles, which does not hurt more?
