Do you think that this is a proper closing to letter of appeals to an academic institution?

As reflected in my transcript from xxxxxxx college my grades steadily increased while my problems decreased. I believe that this a clear indication of my abilities as a student. I know the decision has already been made but I ask the administration to please reconsider their decision and to take into consideration some of the obstacles that I have had to overcome during my time at xxxxxx College. If any further information is needed to substantiate any of the claims within this letter they will be available upon request
